Sr. Mary Bello, C.S.J.
Sr. Mary Bello is a Sister of St Joseph of Chambery. She earned a BA in education from the Diocese Sisters College, and an MS in special education from Southern Connecticut State University. She worked as a teacher of regular and special education, for 42 years, and taught adult Ed for the Hartford public schools for 5 years. Sister was office manager of the Spiritual Life Center for 5 years. She also created storytelling and prayer programs for adults and children in a hundred venues throughout the Archdiocese of Hartford. She gave a storytelling workshop for the Deacons of the Archdiocese of Hartford, and served the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT with retreats. Sister Mary has been ministering as a spiritual director for 12 years.
